Meet the Fan Accounts
Emily, owner of @hayleyleblancfan, a fan account for Hayley LeBlanc.
Ella-Kate, owner of @woelfacts, a fan account for photographer Brandon Woelfel.
Ellie, owner of @istanhayden, a fan account for Hayden Summerall and other stars including Annie LeBlanc, Hayley LeBlanc, and Mackenzie Ziegler.
Everly Mag: What inspired you to start your account?
Emily: What inspired me the most was seeing all the other fan accounts.

Ella-Kate: I’ve always seen these accounts where [people] post facts about their idol. I decided to try it out for myself since it seemed fun!
Ellie: I had been watching Bratayley literally forever. They were my favorite family on YouTube. I really wanted to express how much I loved and supported them.
Everly Mag: What were your goals for your account?
Emily: To show how much of a good person Hayley is.
Ella-Kate: To spread positivity and post facts everyday about my idol, Brandon Woelfel.
Ellie: To make some friends and get noticed by Annie and Hayley.
Everly Mag: What’s changed most about your account since you started?
Ella-Kate: The number of followers I’ve gotten seems kind of unreal. I know it isn’t all about your number of followers, but when I started I never thought I’d get to where I am now.

Ellie: When I first started I was mostly a Bratayley account, but I’ve been an account [for many stars]. I post about Kenzie, Johnny, the Chicken Girls and Total Eclipse cast.
Everly Mag: What’s been the biggest surprise of running your fan account?
Emily: Seeing how many friends you can make with a fan account.

Ella-Kate: Definitely the support it has been getting and the friends I’ve made. I’m so grateful I got to grow with all my Internet best friends and [see] Brandon grow. Iris, Xandra, Katherine, Amelia, Charlie, Riddhi, and Fatema are some of my Internet friends that I’m so thankful for.
Ellie: One of the biggest surprises is the following I have. When I got started, I didn’t care about how many followers I had (and still don’t), I was just supporting people I love. But, overtime, I’ve gained about 2.2K and it’s amazing. I’ve also been noticed by Hayden a couple of times. [That] was honestly the best.
Everly Mag: What’s the best part of running your account?
Emily: Being able to support who you love!
Ella-Kate: I love that I get to talk to Brandon and to so many other fan pages! There’s just so much love in the Woelf Pack.

Ellie: I’ve met some amazing people. We bond over Bratayley and become very good friends. I actually made my best friend through the fandom.
Everly Mag: What’s the hardest part of running your account?
Emily: Dealing with haters.
Ella-Kate: The hardest part is when I run out of facts to post. It really isn’t easy to find new facts to post every single day.
Ellie: All the drama that comes along with being in a fandom. A lot of people hate on us just because we stan someone.
Everly Mag: What advice do you have for other fan accounts that are just getting started?
Emily: No matter what happens, keep going with your account. Even if you get hate, if you love who you’re supporting, keep your account.
Ella-Kate: Never get discouraged. Don’t get upset when you feel like you don’t have enough time on your hands. You are only one human, don’t [be] too hard on yourself.

Ellie: Just be yourself. I know that’s what everyone says but it’s true. Post what you want, not what others want.
Everly Mag: What message would you want to give to the star you admire?
Emily: To Hayley – Don’t ever change for anything. Keep doing you [and] don’t worry what people say. Lots of people love you, including me, and you’re a smart, funny, strong, and beautiful girl. Keep your head up!

Ella-Kate: To Brandon – You’re such an amazing and talented person. All your photos are so special and make me smile. Thank you for inspiring me and the Woelf Pack. I love you endlessly!
Everly Mag: Do you think social media is mostly positive or negative? How can teens and tweens help make social media a better place?
Emily: I think social media is mostly positive. There [are] a lot of nice people. Even though there is hate, there is more positivity!
Ella-Kate: I personally think social media is mostly positive, but no matter how positive it gets, there is always negativity, and it’s really sad to think about. Teens these days are so empowering, though. Even by just posting a simple positive quote, it can really brighten up someone’s day. Just by complimenting someone, it goes a long way.
Ellie: I think social media is mostly a positive place. Of course, there’s always going to be [some] negativity, but me and my friends just try to ignore it. Also, most of the time, people being mean on social media just want attention, so if everyone stops giving it to them [they will] hopefully stop.
