Ainsley Ross is a born performer. From acting to singing, she’s ready to take on the entertainment industry with her passion and talent.
Everly Mag talked to Ainsley about acting, music, modeling, and more!
Everly Mag: What took you from a small town in Texas to Los Angeles? How did the entertainment industry in Los Angeles compare to your expectations?
Ainsley: Acting was what formally took me from my small town (Beckville, TX) to Los Angeles. However, producing and touring music was what first brought me into the entertainment space. I wrote a song called “Just Be You” and from it I created events where I would go speak to people and encourage them to just be themselves and to not conform to everyday society. From that platform acting grew and now I am blessed to be where I am today!
Los Angeles is definitely different from my small town of less than 800 people, but I LOVE it! Everything in the career path that I am pursuing is in Los Angeles, whereas in Texas there are not as many opportunities. I did not expect everyone in LA to be an actor but surprise (many are)! So LA did compare to my expectations and didn’t at the same time (I was definitely not prepared for the traffic…) . However, the kindness and support of the people in LA have more than surpassed my expectations 🙂
Everly Mag: You began your career at a young age; what would you recommend to other young girls trying to establish themselves?
Ainsley: I would say first know your worth. Know that no matter what you are beautiful, wonderful, and enough. Also, whatever you decide to pursue, it may come easy and it may not, but if you believe in and love what you are doing and put in the hard work you’re on the right track! Watch YouTube videos, study up, read books, and then apply your knowledge. Define your goal and the message you want to convey and the world will go for it!
Everly Mag: You are known as an actress, model, singer, and songwriter. Is there one role in particular that you plan on focusing on in the future? Or do you try to find roles that incorporate these talents?
Ainsley: I love all of these things and am blessed to do them. However, I do love to pursue roles that can incorporate all of these. You are not always going to be able to book roles that address all of your interests, but I do my best to continue to grow in all of these areas. I have some awesome things currently in the works that I cannot yet talk about (but stay tune for my book release)!
Everly Mag: Do you have any favorite quotes that motivate you?
Everly Mag: What is next for you?
Ainsley: My new worldwide music and music video release “WE Are One.” The release of my EPK as well. The worldwide release of the footage of an underwater shoot I did for 12 hours! I can’t wait! There is a project currently in the works that I can’t talk about… and a screening of a pilot I filmed called “Should I do it?”
