If you’re anything like me, you struggle with staying active and healthy during the year. I get tired and don’t want to go workout, but I’ve scoured the internet and found apps which make staying active easy and fun! That’s why I’ve put together 5 Empowering Apps That Will Motivate You to Stay Healthy!
1. Tracking Steps – Fitbit App Mobile Tracker
The best thing about the Fitbit App’s Mobile Tracker is that you don’t need a Fitbit to use the feature! Instead you can just pair the app with your phone, so it syncs with all of your phone’s steps. Before using this feature, I never felt motivated to get steps in. I didn’t really care about working out. But when I downloaded it and first reached 10,000 steps, I knew I had to make exercise a priority.
2. Doing Good While Exercising – Charity Miles
I know I have always had a hard time getting myself to be active. Charity Miles has helped me fix this! Charity Miles is an incredible app that will donate money to foundations whenever you run, walk, or bike. The app lets you choose to donate to over 40 different charitable causes, and has already raised over $2,500,000 for incredible causes!
3. Tracking Progress at the Gym – Jefit
I’ve constantly been frustrated with not having a structured workout plan. I never feel like I’m able to exercise efficiently. Jefit helps fix this problem! The app gives you access to over 1,300 free fitness plans and even allows you to input workouts into the app; that way you can always keep track of your progress. It can help you stay active in exciting ways!
4. Searching for Outdoor Spaces – The Outbound
The Outbound is an incredible app that can help you find cool outdoor activities to do in your area! Through the app, you can find what there is to do outdoors in your close vicinity. Look for options near you, from hiking, to kayaking; they have it all!
5. Hydrating, the Fun Way! – Plant Nanny
I can’t stress this enough, drink lots of water! Drinking water can seem boring, but with apps like Plant Nanny, staying hydrated can be lots of fun! The app gives you a plant that you can water every time you hydrate and can calculate how much water you should drink each day. It’s an adorable reminder to always drink water!
